We will be asking the youth of the Ark to update the Ark blog from now on.
This weeks blog update was written by Jake Ryan.
Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. This is the scripture Paul (who used to be named Saul) wrote to the Philippians while he was in prison for spreading GODS word. The scripture tells you that you should only praise GOD. This is what we talked about at the Ark this week at The Ark we did a game called battle ship and another game called hardball. We also played a game called letterman. The Lord also sent Mrs Marianne and Mr Jeff Lemarcos this week to help. What a blessing!

Mark 10:27 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."
Mark 10:27 is the the scripture that is stamped on the hand of all the youth at the Ark. Most of them know this scripture verse. We have discussed it, shared the meaning of Gods power when we trust and serve Him.
As the volunteers that serve God in this ministry do we. "know this"? Well, yes we do but we lose sight and fall short. This week we prayed, seeking Gods wisdom, asked to receive patience and allow His light to shine through us. By far the best week we had with 50+ youth present to witness it. We need to remember when the Lord sends us and we try to achieve His purposes on our own strength it is impossible. But with God, His strength, His light , His patience the children will see the Lord at work and not us. It is the only way. We played silent ball, gave out Ark bucks which the kids can use to buy things on the website.
We had a team challenge and had a obstacle challenge as well. All of the volunteers showed love and patience. What a blessing to see the youth all working, playing, sharing and interacting with one another.
Please continue to pray for The youth of this community and Our sevice to the Lord in it.
God Bless.

SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!
This week The Ark was not going on due to the Community Center being used that day. Although, the past two weeks were great. As usuall we ate hotdogs and fries. We played and found that some new games work better than others. Usuall the physical games that involve a ball or running around seems to be more popular than the mental games. The games we tried the past two weeks discluding this week were, silent ball, in which everyone gets in a circle and a ball is tossed between everyone. If you drop the ball, talk, or toss the ball to hard for anyone to catch - you are out. The last man standing wins. Some others were, Mafia, Human Knot, Team Challange 5, and Minefield. If you go on out website (www.thearkonline.org) you may see these games and thier rules. Just click on the Acitivities tab. Also we had about 50-70 kids each week and our numbers are increasing so SPREAD THE WORD, both about God and The Ark. Another thing check out our churches website who helps fund and support the Ark at www.pinelandschurch.org. Thank You and have a blessed day.
